Charles M. Kronzek
Mr. Kronzek is a highly successful trial lawyer with extensive experience in handling hundreds of family law cases. He has handled numerous interstate and international custody cases. Mr. Kronzek has been successful at changing custody from one parent to the other many times; even when the prior custody was long established. His competence and aggressiveness in the courtroom is such that he often gets referrals from opposing parties following the conclusion of cases. Additionally, Mr. Kronzek has represented numerous attorneys in their own family law matters. He has excellent litigation skills and has been a member of numerous legal and professional associations including the State Bar of Michigan (Family Law Section), American Association of Justice, National Association of Divorce, Custody, and Child Support Lawyers, and Divorce, Custody, and Child Support Attorneys of Michigan. He frequently participates in continuing legal education to keep updated on the most current laws, techniques and court rulings that might affect our clients. Mr. Kronzek spends the majority of his time fighting for the rights of clients in divorce and custody cases and Children's Protective Services proceedings.
Charles Kronzek received his Bachelor of Science in Human Resources Management from Geneva College in Pennsylvania. He then obtained his Juris Doctor from Thomas M. Cooley Law School where he graduated Cum Laude. He has been admitted to practice law in all Michigan State courts, as well as the United States District Court for the Western District of Michigan, the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Michigan, and the United States District Court for the Western District of Texas. He has been admitted pro hac vice to try cases in Texas, Wyoming, and Florida.
Brandy J. Thompson
Ms. Thompson believes that one of our most fundamental rights is the right to parent our children. That right should not be interfered with except in the most extreme circumstances. She fights for the rights of both mothers and fathers in custody proceedings throughout the Mid-Michigan area. Ms. Thompson participates in continued legal education to stay up-to-date on the latest changes in Michigan law regarding custody. She has attended and successfully completed the Hillman Trial Advocacy Program and regularly attends Family Law Conferences and Child Protection advocacy programs.
Ms. Thompson, originally from northern Michigan, graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor's Degree in Pre-Law from Lake Superior State University. She then attended Michigan State University College of Law where she graduated Cum Laude. While in law school she became an editor for the prestigious MSU- Law Review. Her memberships have included the Michigan Association for Justice, the State Bar of Michigan, as well as the Young Trial Lawyers Association.
In addition to being licensed to practice in Michigan State courts, she is also licensed in the United States District Court for the Western District of Michigan, and the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Michigan. Ms. Thompson has successfully litigated in both State and Federal courts. She has handled a wide range of cases including Divorce and Custody Proceedings, Children's Protective Services, child abuse and neglect, as well as Divorce, Custody, and Child Support.
Michael J. Cronkright
As a trial attorney, Mr. Cronkright focuses primarily on trial work within his areas of practice. These areas include Family Defense in Child Protective Proceedings, PPO Defense, and other complex litigation. Mr. Cronkright has a passion for defending the falsely accused, and those treated unfairly by the authorities. He has served as lead trial attorney on numerous complex cases involving false allegations by children. Mr. Cronkright has extensive training and experience in cross examination of children. He has both training from, and courtroom experience with, nationally prominent medical, psychological and scientific experts. These experts have been helpful in breaking the barrier of false accusations, misleading evidence, and suggestive child interviews by authorities. Mr. Cronkright has obtained "not guilty" verdicts throughout Michigan and has successfully litigated for the reunification of families facing allegations by Children's Protective Services.
Mr. Cronkright received his Bachelor of Arts in Business from Spring Arbor College. He then obtained his Juris Doctor from Thomas M. Cooley Law School, where he graduated Cum Laude. He has been admitted to practice law in all Michigan State courts, as well as the United States District Court for the Western District of Michigan, the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Michigan, and the United States District Court for the Western District of Texas, pro hac vice.
